Oh. Dear. Lord.
This took me FOREVER!
It's the t-shirt I've been going on about (just to state the obvious, there.)

I made this for the simple reason that I want a Bioshock T-shirt and I have no money to buy one, and that transfer paper split and cracked when I tried that.

It was really rewarding though, I'm so very proud of it *wipes tear from eye*

I did this over 2 days:
The Big Daddy took me 8 hours non-stop on the first day (I didn't even eat V.V)
And the background and Text took me 6 hours on the second day, non-stop again.
But it was so worth it!

I'll make a better version of this when I finally get my photoshop up and running. I'm confined to Paint at the moment ^^;

nice work, how's the paint lasted through washing, apply any kind of treatment to seal it or did the acrylics hold well?

....just been using fabric markers for a friend's shirt so i thought i'd take a look at what others are doing with t-shirts.

Thank you :)

It does fade, I've made t-shirts since and some have held up really well, and others not so good. I think it all depends on the application of paint, the thicker the paint is the longer it lasts, I've found. I think cheap acrylics seems to work better as well. Which is good news :XD:

I've never used markers before, do tell me how it turns out :)

yeh acrylic stains are all over my jeans and shirts and they seem to be immovable lol

not sure how the shirt survived the wash, put a photo of it in my gallery, the markers are supposed to be permanent once dry so hopefully her present will last.

Yeah that's what gave me the idea XD

I checked it out, it's really really cool. I hope it lasted well :)

Acrylic paint, I figured it didn't wash off my jeans, it wouldn't wash off a top. :XD: I do a lot of stuff like this for my friends, but I tend to use stencils now more than freehand, it takes less time!

Oh cool! Do felt markers work? I've never tried them.

I find they work well, pretty much like using a marker on felt:XD:
